3-20-10 The Boys (& their friend) found Patches' 3 new kittens hiding in old feed sacks in the barn today!
3-21-10 "Alpha" (bull) with his mom, Disco. Even though he's 3 days younger than ReeseCup, he's about 20 pounds heavier! Boys have decided to name this year's bulls "Aviator language": Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc.!
3-26-10 Here is "Bravo" (bull) from Sadie. Yes, it feels as cold as it looks!

4-3-10 Meet "Charlie" - our 3rd bull. It's amazing how lazy the boys are vs. the girls...as soon as we put the halter on him, he didn't even try to move!
4-4-10 Hallelujah! Christ is risen! Today we celebrate our re-birth in Jesus Christ. We enjoyed another beautiful Easter Sunrise Service in His creation. We're so thankful for this annual tradition on our farm. ALL ARE WELCOME to join us each year!
4-5-10 Here's "Caramel" with her mom, ScotchTape!
4-5-10 Had 2 calves today! Went up to the field after ball practice this evening and found "Delta", our 4th bull.

4-12-10 Thought I'd put a couple pictures of "new grass"... Pastures have finally grown enough we can get the cows out to graze! They are SOOOO happy...
4-12-10 More happy cows... We pray we get some decent rain so the rest of the pastures continue to grow.
4-13-10 Here is "Foxtrot" with his mom, Debbie. Now we should get a few week break before our final calves are born...YEAH!
4-6-10 (I know - dates are out of order... meant to put these on a few days ago, but forgot...) Here is Grandma getting ready to walk ReeseCup next door to "Green Dragon". This is an open area where our calves can run & jump! Once they're about 2 weeks old, they get to make the trip. FYI - All our fields are named after "Lord of the Rings" locations...
4-6-10 Here's Alpha making the same trip...
4-6-10 Bravo's turn...
4-12-10 Time for Crayola to join the other 3 in Green Dragon!

4-14-10 Pepper's keeping Grandma in shape! She can't wait to join the other 4 in Green Dragon!
4-14-10 Shhhh...don't tell Michael I put this on! I couldn't resist. Freshly showered, eating a full dinner at 9PM after a late baseball practice, & he HAD to wear his new cowboy hat he got today for "working in the sun"!! LOL
4-15-10 Couldn't resist...flashback 5 years...
4-15-10 Paul loves to "shuck" the corn off the cob for our chickens! Our cousin grows his own corn, naturally, and hand-picks it. We were blessed to receive a large bag of it for our egglayers.
4-19-10 Today we moved 4 calves over to Green Dragon. Here's Delta & Snapple.
4-19-10 And here's Paul with Caramel...
